Hi, I’m Andrea — founder and baker at El Arte de Cocinar.

Originally from Uruguay and now based in Brooklyn, New York, I’ve worked as a pastry cook in several restaurants and bakeries across the city. After years of professional kitchen experience, I decided to start something of my own — where I could blend technique, creativity, and heart.

El Arte de Cocinar is a project born from passion and purpose. Every cookie, brownie, and muffin is handmade in small batches using high-quality ingredients and recipes I’ve refined over time.

My goal? To bring you that “just-baked” feeling with every bite — whether you’re celebrating, gifting, or simply treating yourself.
